I mourn not just the passing of a friend, but the loss of someone who truly became family to me and my children.
He called me 'Nyajok' a name that carried warmth, affection and a bond that words can hardly capture. He never failed to check on me wherever I was. Whenever life felt heavy and my spirit low, he was always the first one to call, offering words of encouragement that often lifted me more than he could ever know.
He never forgot to include me in his family gatherings. Funny enough he would call and ask me,' Nyajok, ne chal nadi?'Meaning, Nyajok, how was the event?
More than anything, he was my confidant and true mentor. Someone I would trust completely, someone who guided me in all aspects of life without judgement, only love and wisdom.
His kindness, generosity and quiet strength has left an indelible mark on me. Though he is nolonger here in person, the lessons he taught me, the hope he shared and the love he gave so freely will remain with us always.

You called me Nyaralego. It wasn’t just a nickname. It was your way of grounding me in a family, a history, and a place I had longed to understand. You didn’t hesitate. You made it clear from the start: I belonged.
Though I didn’t grow up around my father’s side of the family, the time I spent with you gave me something I’ll carry forever: connection, recognition, and a gentle sense of home.
You became more than an uncle. In many ways, you filled a quiet space in my life with warmth and hope. Losing you has been painful, not only because you’re gone but also because it feels like I’m losing a bridge to a part of me I still hope to know.

Can't tell you everything here about my brother and I because I'm not a good writer, I always wonder if he knew my real name because it was always Nyamama!!! My brother sleep well and my prayer is that if I do good in this World we shall meet on the resurrection day when the trumpets shall sound and we will say Hosanna this is the man we have been waiting for and we will rejoice together with our father in Heaven, Ooh!! how I long for that beautiful

Not sure whether to call it friendship or family but with you it brought it all out. You taught me how to never despair or be discouraged for there is always the positive part of life.
